GOD IS THE ALL IN ALL IN YOUR LIFE (Sunday, 7th September 2025)
Text for Today: 2 Chron. 36:11-14 “He did evil in the sight of the Lord his God, and did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet.” (vs. 12).
Only a fool will go against the person who holds his future in his hands. Mind you, I’m talking about God our Creator, who is the only one who holds our future in His hands and not any mortal being. Yeah, it’s true that a man may have some kind of influence over your life, but that doesn’t mean he holds your future in his hands. Every day of your life, your desire should be to live your life to please God, because you are going nowhere without him. It does not matter the uncommon opportunity you may have in life or the height you may have attained already above your peers. Never go against your God in all that you do, because it may signal the beginning of your downfall.
God is the all in all in your life, and you must not do anything to replace God with any other thing in your life, if you want to go far in destiny. One of the antics of the devil, whenever he wants to destroy a life beyond repair, is that he first makes that life become rebellious and then separate the life from the influence of the brethren. These are the things we begin to notice when pride enters a life. And those are some of the things that marked Zedekiah’s life. He did that which was evil in the sight of God; he became arrogant to Jeremiah, the prophet who was speaking from the mouth of the Lord. He rebelled against constituted authorities and refused to listen to godly counsel. Rebellious spirit is a witchcraft spirit. Beware of it! And I pray that God delivers you from the shackle of pride and self-glorification in Jesus’ name.
