A JOYFUL SHOUT TO THE LORD IS A MUST (Sunday, 4th January 2026)
Text for Today: Ps. 100:1-5 “Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands.” (vs. 1).
Joyful shout is a regular occurrence in the life of anyone who knows how to give God praise. Whoever cannot rejoice and jubilate over the deeds of God in his life, has given the devil a foothold to operate from in his life. Beloved, I want you to know that, making a joyful shout to the Lord, is one of the major ways to show your gratitude to Him for all that He did for you and your entire household in the just concluded year. He kept you from all forms of diseases and evil onslaught all through the journey of the just concluded year; make a joyful shout to Him. He forgave you your sins; make a joyful shout to Him.
He healed you of all your infirmities; make a joyful shout to Him. He provided for your needs; make a joyful shout to Him. He didn’t allow you to be put to shame; make a joyful shout to Him. He frustrated the counsels of the enemy and weakened their hands, such that they were not able to carry out their enterprises against you; make a joyful shout to Him. He raised men and women who were important to your dream to support you all through your journey last year; make a joyful shout to Him. As parents, He didn’t allow you to cry over any of your children in 2025; make a joyful shout to Him. He answered your prayers and accepted your offerings and sacrifices; make a joyful shout to Him. Our text for today further says in verse 4, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His holy name.
