HE WAS ALMOST STOPPED FROM GOING TO LAZARUS (Tuesday, 13th January 2026)
Text for Today: John 11:1-17 “The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again.” (vs. 8).
Let me start today by prophesying into your life that, may God Almighty silence any man or woman who may want to discourage your helpers of destiny from locating you this year in the name of Jesus. In the journey of life, some people miss out of help and assistance that could have changed the course of their lives permanently just because some people spoke against their interests before their helpers of destiny. Very many times, you will not be where they will discuss your matter, which is why today’s message and prayers points will go a long way in helping your dream and expectations this New Year.
After Jesus was informed about the sickness of Lazarus, He decided to go there after two more days’ assignment, but the disciples advised Him against going there. Beloved, if Jesus had heeded their advice, Lazarus wouldn’t have been brought back to life; neither would he have become prominent like we have it in John 12:9. Daniel almost suffered the same fate, but thanks be to God for his persistence in prayer. Daniel didn’t stop praying until he got what he wanted. Some so called Christians chicken out after praying over an issue for some time because they didn’t see any response immediately. If Daniel had stopped his prayer on the twentieth day, he wouldn’t have gotten anything. Beloved, I want you to know that, as long as you are still alive, your helper of destiny is alive as well. I pray for you today, that your God ordained helper will locate you early this year in Jesus’ name. Amen.
