WE CAN’T IMPROVE ON WHAT WE DON’T ASSESS (Monday, 1st June 2026)

Text for Today: 2 Cor. 13:1-5 “Examine yourself as to whether you are in the faith. Text yourself…” (vs. 5).

Halleluyah to the Most -High, for the privilege of being counted among the living on earth today, being the first day in the sixth month of this great year. I pray it shall be a month filled with turnarounds in our lives in the name of Jesus. Self-evaluation and assessment should be a major part of our lives as believers, if we want to make it to our desired destination. Beloved, we can’t improve what we don’t assess.  Any journey a man embarks upon in life that will end in great celebration requires regular assessment of how the journey is going on. A failure to assess one’s journey or assignment will lead to deception which will bring about wrong perception about the state of things.

It is through regular assessment that one will know which area to really work more on, and which area has to be overhauled completely. Successful people are not only working in their job/business, they are also working on it.  They step back and assess their progress regularly.  They track themselves against their goals and clearly know what needs to be done to excel and accelerate. You can’t control what you don’t properly measure.  There may even be a need for you to re-strategize based on the assessment you have made. A regular check-up on your spiritual life will keep you free from spiritual sickness and move you into full blown maturity. By the end of this month, the first half of year 2026 shall be over, thus, time waits for no man, you need to be sure of where you are heading to this year. HAPPY NEW MONTH!

You are a Champion!

Further Study: 1 Cor. 10:11-12.

Covenant Prayers

  1. I thank you for the privilege of seeing this new month.
  2. I receive grace to regularly assess my journey in life.
  3. Every plot of the devil to derail me in destiny shall not prosper.
  4. I rebuke every spirit of complacency in me in Jesus’ name.
