THE POWER OF FAITH (PART 2)

The kind of power that faith gives in specific times

1. Faith gives us the power to see the unseen.

=> What Faith sees, the physical eyes can’t see.

=> Case Study: God’s words to Abraham that he will have a son in his old age.

=> If you are seeing the same thing as others, you are not different. You must see beyond what unbelievers and even other believers see.

2. Faith gives us the power to hear the unheard.

=> A man or woman of God can hear God.

How God speaks

1. Through a small still voice.
2. Through dreams.
3. Through visions.
4. Through wise and Godly counsel.
5. Through circumstances, both positive and negative.
6. Through His word, either in the place of personal study or in a service.
7. God speaks to our spirit man, and you will know clearly that this is God speaking to you.

=>Above all, you need faith to hear when God speaks.

Things to note

1. Faith is the foundation upon which our relationship with God rests.

2. Someone who has faith will say ‘I will break through’ when others are saying there is no way.

3. If you confess the same thing as unbelievers, you won’t have a better and different result.

4. Building up your faith is not a day affair, but your commitment must first be in place, and continue to build on it all the days of your life.

5. The more revelation of God you discover, the more your faith grows as a believer.

6. God will honor whoever exercises faith, regardless of their age and circumstances.

7. The level of your faith will determine what you will see.

8. Faith sees beyond the physical realm.

9. When there is no faith in the future, there will be no power in the present. The faith you have in the future will generate the power to fight in the present.

10. You can only see the future through the promises of God, and you can only know the promises of God through His words.

Prayers

1. Father, help me to build up my faith. Help me to do the needful so that I will increase in faith.
