CUTTING THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT
Sunday Service (18th October 2026)
Monthly Focus: Vessels unto Honour
Ministering: Pastor Wole Dahunsi
Texts: Genesis 17:1-9; Genesis 26:1-4
Core Message
=> In ancient BC, it was common for people to make a covenant with each other by walking between a split animal and blood shed between the carcasses of the animals.
=> However, God made a covenant with Abraham with spoken words, declarations, and promises. And God said that the covenant would extend to Abraham’s future generations.
=> God gave Abraham a responsibility concerning the covenant. Genesis 17:1.
=> God’s covenant to Abraham gave him authority over many things – land possessions, fruitfulness, richness in cattle and material possessions, etc.
Things to do to cut the Abrahamic Covenant
=> To cut means to receive and enjoy the covenant.
1. Your faith must remain active and strong, even in the face of adversity.
