DON’T ABUSE THE GRACE OF GOD OVER YOUR LIFE (Thursday, 20th November 2025)

Text for today: I Cor. 15: 1 – 11 “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not vain.” (vs. 10a).

The grace of God is readily available to all children of God, but not all of them make good use of it. “His grace towards me was not in vain” was a bold statement that Apostle Paul made when he reflected back on all that God has done for him and took him through in life. I have seen not a few people who had abused the grace of God upon their lives and how they came down from the ladder of grace. I pray for you today that, you will not fall from grace to grass as this year goes to an end in the name of Jesus. Beloved, if the grace of God will not be in vain in your life like Apostle Paul confessed, then you must live an acceptable life that is pleasing unto the Lord.

It is the grace of God at work in our lives that makes us to succeed and come out in flying colours in whatever we do. When Apostle Paul encountered grace, he became more honourable and became successful in all he did, though he was the least of the apostles according to our text for today. I admonish you to do everything within your power this last quarter and beyond, not to do anything that will make you to lose out of God’s grace. When grace leaves a man, he begins to struggle in all areas when he was once celebrated. The cost of losing God’s grace is very high, and no one will be able to bear it. We have several cases in the Bible of men who once enjoyed God’s grace but lost it because they messed up. If you lose your character, grace will leave your life. Keep on working on sustaining Godly character daily, so that the grace of God will not be in vain in your life.

You are a champion!

Further Study: Eccles. 10: 1 – 10.
