EVIL STRONGMAN CAN BE BROUGHT INTO SUBJECTION WITH A SUPERIOR POWER (Sunday, 23rd August 2026)
Text for Today: Matt. 12:22-30 “Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man?” (vs. 29).
A truth everyone must embrace is that, “Life is fair to no one, only those who take charge of it will sail through and triumph.” Life is not a funfair but a warfare, and only those who go all out will come out victorious. Many people have been stopped by the evil strongmen of their father’s houses and they did nothing about it. From our text for today, it clearly shows that, the evil strongman can be brought into subjection with a superior power. Beloved, a great assurance you need to know that God is ever mindful of you, is the numerous victories He has given you in the cause of your journey on earth. Every family has evil strongmen whose assignment is to stop glory from speaking and cripple destiny from rising.
I pray for you today that, any evil strongman from your father or mother’s house that is on evil mission in your life shall be destroyed by fire. The strongman is the power standing between you and your Promised Land or divine destiny. Some strongmen live in people like in the case of Goliath, Haman, Ahab, Herod and lots more. They could also live in a member of a household. “A man’s enemies will be members of his own household” (Matt. 10:36). There are strongmen promoting sickness, delay, stagnation, barrenness, poverty, premature death amongst others in various families. For the next couple of days, we shall be discussing how to stop the activities of evil strongmen in our lives. God Almighty who has helped me thus far will also help you marvelously to triumph over evil strongmen in Jesus name.

- Father, I thank you on for the breaking of this new day.
