Core Message
Grace brings us to mercy. At the throne of grace, there is mercy, grace, and help. Grace for Double Portion is not just a theme; it is an agenda to key into the grace of God and the grace for more. Isaiah 54:1.
=> Grace is the divine impartation and empowerment to become more than you are currently, do more than you are doing now, get more than you are getting, and to cover more grounds and take more territories than you are covering now and taking now.
=> The concept of Double Portion was originally rooted in the concept of birthright. The birthright is the right of the first born which qualifies them for the leadership/headship of the house.
Those who enjoyed the grace of Double Portion in the Bible
1. Judah and Joseph – Genesis 49.
- Reuben’s birthright was divided between Judah and Joseph – Judah in terms of political leadership, and Joseph in terms of financial prosperity.
2. Isaac over Ishmael – Genesis 17.
- Before Abraham died, he gave the sons of his concubines, gifts, but left inheritance for Isaac.
3. Jacob over Esau – Genesis 25:29-34; Genesis 27:27-37.
- Don’t lose your consecration and grace for Double Portion to hunger.
- The grace of Double Portion didn’t belong to Jacob in the order of birth, but it became his prophetically, and Isaac delivered the future to him.
