HE DIDN’T FAIL THE RESPONSIBILITY TEST (Monday, 3rd August 2026)
Text for Today: Mark 10:46-52 “And Jesus said unto him, Go, for your faith has healed you. Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road. (NLT) (vs. 52).
God’s word cannot fail in the life of those who believe and act on it. Such was the case of blind Bartimaeus in our test for today. Whatever God will do for you in life will first of all place some responsibilities before you, after which you enjoy the divine provision and promises. Many people have missed out of their divine promises because they failed the responsibility test that will launch them into it. Beloved, I want you to know that major turnaround of destiny is tied to your immediate compliance with whatever you read from the scripture or you are instructed to do by His servant as led by God.
From our text for today, even though Jesus gave Blind Bartimaeus His attention, he remained blind until he followed Jesus’ instruction. When Jesus told him “Go, for your faith has healed you…” he was still blind, but the moment he took a step, the miracle happened. Do not be intimidated by the so-called size of your problem to the extent of thinking what you are instructed to do cannot subdue it. Blind Bartimaeus had a very strong expectation that his lot in life would change that day. He believed God all the way with actions and the right attitude. No wonder he got a miracle. You can have a similar disposition today because every day is loaded with miracles. Be expectant, your miracle is on the way! Our expectation is our hope. If there is one thing that God is looking for to release the supernatural, it is our expectation and obedience to His instruction. Follow divine instructions and become your God-given dream.
