IT’S IN YOUR HAND TO INITIATE YOUR FREEDOM (Monday, 9th February 2026)
Text for Today: Luke 13:6-17 “So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound-think of it – for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” (vs. 16).
Those who fail in making the right choices in life, live to regret it. When the devil and his agents hold anyone captive, they have no scheduled date to set him free. Their plan is to keep such a person in bondage till his or her death. I pray for you today that, every plot of the enemy to keep you in bondage shall be frustrated in Jesus name. A life of captivity is the best way to describe what some people are going through in life, health wise, in business, family, academic, career and some spiritually. The devil is the captor, and is not thinking of letting any one of his captives move an inch at all.
However, I am glad to inform you that, the Almighty God need no permission from the devil before he sets captives of the mighty free. A captive is someone who is under satanic embargo. He is someone who fails at the edge of breakthrough all the time. A captive is someone who is exposed to several attacks of the enemy and has no weapon to fight back. The only language the captor understands is force. From our text for today, it is very clear that God is never happy when any of His is children comes under satanic bondage of any sort. You need to cry to God to deliver you from any form of bondage you find yourself presently. If you keep quiet, things will get worse, and you need to know that the devil has no expiry date for any captivity he brings any one into. You are the one that will determine whether you are stepping out today by engaging in spiritual warfare or continue your stay there. The choice is yours.
