Core Message
=> Some people are living for enjoyment, fun, and the things they can acquire, while others are living for impact.
=> When you secure your space, you will live for impact.
=> Jesus lived for impact, so as believers, we should also live for impact.
=> While living for impact, other things will come. Matthew 6:33.
Snippets from the summit – 6 ways to secure your space
=> Discover, Develop, Position, Occupy, Steward, God-factor.
Covenant Steps that will help us to live for Impact
1. Whatever you do in life, labour to be relevant.
=> Ecclesiastes 9:10.
=> Labor alone can’t announce you, but favor and grace will complement your labor.
=> Those who are lazy or stay idle can never be relevant wherever they are in life, and will not live a life of impact.
2. Don’t allow your dream to be manipulated.
=> Whatever you want to attain in life is possible.
=> Respect all men, but don’t cringe before anybody,
=> Don’t abandon your dream because you respect someone.
=> In the journey of life, there are Dream Interpreters, Dream Enhancers, and Dream Aborters.
Key Takeaways
1. Your life must go beyond you. Whatever you do in life must go beyond your children or yourself.
2. Make every life you come across better than you met it. Do not injure or destroy any life.
3. No assignment of God can fail. God can change men.
4. You can’t be relevant and not be needed.
5. That you are starting small doesn’t mean you won’t become big tomorrow. Don’t wait for men’s commendation or stress yourself over it if it’s not coming forth.
6. No matter the size of your dreams, God can never be scared. He is able.
7. Dreams don’t fulfill themselves. Do your part; God can never fail His own part.
8. Touch lives. Bless lives. Impact lives.
Prayers (before the Sermon)
Acts 23:12.
=> It is one thing for someone to say they want to deal with someone. It is another level when the person puts himself under an oath to deal with the person. It is no longer the words of his mouth. He will be compelled by the power of the oath he has taken.
Genesis 26; Judges 6.
=> When someone is under an oath to do something, he never gets tired until he achieves what he has set to do.
=> You don’t need to offend someone before they plot against you.
1. Who is under an oath to stop me or destroy me, Holy Ghost fire, begin to deal with them.
2. Someone who is going nowhere and has come under an oath that I also won’t go anywhere, oh Lord, I declare his obituary now.
3. Lift up your hands: “My Father, my Father, by the power of what made you God, help me to get to where I am going to this year”
Prayers (after the Sermon)
1. Father, as I continue with the journey of this year, help me to live for impact, out there, and even in this church. Cause my life to be a blessing to everyone around me.
