Things to note
Here are some things to note:
- Every instruction given to you is for your own good.
- You are not doing God a favour by obeying HIS instructions, you are the sole-beneficiary.
- Every today has a tomorrow.
- Sins are sweet for a moment but, the end result is deadly/killing.
- Some people have lost their glories to carelessness and disobedience.
- The bible is a guide for us to live a Godly life
REASONS WHY GLORY COULD BE ABORTED:
1. Carelessness:
Case study: Samson (Judges 13:1-4, 16:1-4)
- If a covenant carrier is careless with his/her glory, the glory could be snatched.
2. Pride and Arrogance:
Case study: Queen Vashti (Esther 1)
- As you progress in life, do not let the accolades given to you by people get to you.
- Pride leads to destruction.
3. Covetousness or Greed:
Case study: Gehazi (2 Kings)
