We Will All Give Account Of Our Gifts On The Last Day

Text for Today: Matt. 25:14-25 “So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.” (vs. 28).

Halleluyah to the Most High for the significance of today in my life as I clock another year in the land of the living. May His name be praised forever.

Our God is ever faithful to all His children and has endowed everyone with what he needs to make a difference on earth. However, a number of people look down and despise the deposits of God in their lives and focus on what others have that they do not possess.

God is never happy with such an act because it is a sign of ingratitude towards Him. And mind you, everyone will give account of what God gave to him as gifts on the last day.

Even before then, here on earth, he will be one of the miserable folks roaming about, complaining about how dry things are for them and how life has been very unfair to them. The gift God gave you while coming to this world was targeted at a particular assignment and purpose; you must not let it fail.

You only need to use what you have more creatively. It is often said that, “It is not lack of resources that limits people but their lack of resourcefulness.”

The church I pastor today for the past fifteen years and what I have been doing through this devotional through the help of God for the past thirteen years, is simply an expression of the gift God deposited in me. And I trust him to still use me more and more unto His glory.

The servant that was given only one talent did not appreciate what he had; rather, he envied those with five and two talents. Beloved, I am ever excited with what God has given me today as I trust Him for me.
