YOU CAN BRING THAT STRONGHOLD DOWN (Thursday, 5th February 2026)
Text for Today: Jer. 1:1-10 “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdom, to root and to pull down, to build and to plant.” (vs. 10).
Those who are scared of the enemy never get to see the end of the battle. If you don’t take the battle to the gates of the enemy, they will bring it to you and make you a victim. Every enemy who engages in evil has a stronghold he depends on, and until the stronghold is pulled down, he continues with his evil activities. Also, I want you to know that, no man ever gets to his throne in life unless he pulls down strongholds of the enemy on his path to stardom. There are few signs you need to watch out for, to know that there are strongholds you must confront if your desire is to experience turnaround this year. When a man is under perpetual struggle, it is a sign of stronghold in his life.
When you are working with a man who is not interested in your progress and breakthrough. (Gen. 30:25-30). When a man labours in the wrong direction. No matter how fast he runs, there will be nothing to show for it. It is a stronghold. When a man cannot recognize opportunities. There are countless covenant children in the scripture who got to their thrones because they recognized opportunities that came their way and made use of them accordingly. Men like David, Jephthah, Joseph, Mordecai, Jacob, Peter, and many more. There is a force that backs up strongholds and it originated from the devil, that is why it takes a superior power to bring it down. And that superior power lies with no other person than the Ancient of days, who is the Mighty Man in Battle. Our text for today is a great assurance that we are able to bring strongholds down.
