YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY THROUGH FAITH (Friday, 5th June 2026)

Text for Today: Mark 11:12-24 “And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.” (vs. 21).

“If I may touch the helm of His garment I shall be made whole”, was a positive word that delivered a destiny. Words are free; it is how you use them that may cost you. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble. You must be careful with your words, once they are said; they can be only forgiven, not forgotten. The tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to break a heart and even a destiny. Beloved, I charge you not to mix bad words with your bad mood. You will have many opportunities to change your mood, but you will never get the opportunity to replace the words you spoke.

There is a standard assessment format I have discovered is applicable globally which says, “You will be rated by the kinds of words that proceed from your mouth.” It does not matter who you are in life or what you have been able to achieve, if vain words begin to proceed from your mouth, it will not take people time before they classify you among vain men and rogues in life. Don’t tell me who you are, I will know who you are by the words of your mouth. Your words are capable of bringing about life or death and at the same time reveal your personality and beliefs. In Genesis 1, all the wonders of creation were brought about by the force of the spoken words. There was nothing God created without confessing it first. It means if you can say it you will see it. In our text for today, Jesus Christ, recognizing the power of spoken words, taught His disciples and us that we can have whatever we say.

You are a Champion!

  1. Father, I thank you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
