REFLECT AND RELAUNCH (Monday, 5th January 2026)

Text for Today: Jonah 3:1-10 “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying…” (vs. 1).

Those who take time to reflect on where they are coming from will always make good use of new opportunities that will come their way.  The journey of the year that just ended no doubt was filled with diverse events and happenings in our lives. Some of the events we will love to go through them over and over again, while there are some, we won’t ever pray to come across them ever again. While January is often accepted as the time of the year to make a fresh start, it is quite unfortunate that for many people, nothing changes around them. It is dangerous for you to maintain the status quo when a New Year starts, rather, you must make deliberate effort to change the look of things around you if you truly desire a better result compared to the just concluded year.

However, while there may be changes we want, that doesn’t mean they will just magically appear. Changes aren’t like Santa Claus that gives gifts to whoever enters his grotto. It does not matter where you stopped last year, if you will give your assignment a fresh start, you will definitely see the kinds of result you didn’t see last year. 2026 is a fresh year in all spheres, which requires you confronting it with a fresh energy, focus, mentality, understanding, purposefulness, determination, and any other virtue that will make this year to stand out compared to all other years you have gone through before. If you are set for a fresh start, and relaunch, God is fully set as well. May you receive grace to launch out very well this year in Jesus name.

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Jonah 4:1-11.

Covenant Prayers

  1. Father, I thank you once again for sparing my life to see today.
  2. Thank you, Jesus, my Redeemer and ever dependable Helper.
  3. Lord, grant me grace and courage to start afresh where need be.
  4. Lord, give me a different and better result in the year 2026.
