God Can Never Be Limited By Resources
Text for Today: Mark 6:30-44 “Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.” (vs. 44).
The more you trust in the arm of flesh, the less you are going to see the power of God. We must make a great difference between God’s word and the word of man.
A man’s word is a little sound, that flies into the air, and soon vanishes; but the Word of God is greater than heaven and earth, yes, greater than death and hell, for it forms parts of the power of God and endures everlastingly. We all live in a world where we are confronted with endless needs in our day to day activities.
However, faith in God will elevate you to the next level of blessings. The children are neither left out in this scenario of life.
In fact they form bulk of the needs every man face on the planet earth. I often hear men around me say, “All I am doing and labouring for is because of my children.”
That tells you how far a father and a mother could go in meeting the needs in the lives of their children. Beloved, I stand to say to you today that, we have a Father up there that is prepared and fully fit to go all the way in meeting your needs here on earth.
From our text for today, when the disciples wanted to send the people away after the day’s ministrations, because it was not possible to feed the people in the wilderness by their thinking. Jesus said no, they must find something to give them. The disciples simply told Him “No way,” considering their number and where they were in the wilderness.
Beloved, we serve a God who can never be limited by resources, location or time. Jesus received just five loaves of bread and two fish, blessed it and thousands ate from it.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Luke 7:11-17.
Covenant Prayers
- Father, I thank you, for always providing for my needs.
- Dear Lord, as I go out today, multiply my harvest in Jesus’ name.
- I receive grace to lay it down for the sake of your kingdom.
- As you fed the multitude, feed my soul with the good things of life.
QUOTE: “THE NEEDS OF YOUR LIFE ARE TOO SMALL COMPARED TO HIS POWER OF ABUNDANCE.”
