Core Message
=> We are at a certain “present” level of our journey in life.
=> As we grow physically, it is also God’s plan for us to increase in every other aspect of our lives. Therefore, you need to be convinced by faith that you are more than this.
=> Those who walk in the promises of God in their lives can do so because it begins from within.
=> Once it is settled in your heart that you are more than this (conviction), you need an impartation to stir it up, and strengthen and empower it.
=> 1 Peter 2:9
Case Study: Elijah and Elisha
=> Elisha was fully convinced that he was more than just a servant. That was why he did all he could to receive a double portion of anointing from Elijah.
=> 2 Kings 2:15.
Things that happened to Elisha before his glory
1. The sons of the prophet at Bethel mocked Elisha.
=> 2 Kings 2:3.
2. The sons of the prophet at Jericho also mocked Elisha.
=> 2 Kings 2:5.
* Elisha was convinced by faith that the coat of Elijah, which he had caught, had the double portion of anointing.
* By faith, he used the mantle, and the people who had earlier mocked him bowed down before him. 2 Kings 2:15.
What is Impartation?
=> Impartation is a spiritual release of what your life needs to move to the next level.
=> Impartation is an infusion of what is needed to move to the next level.
How impartation happens
1. Spoken words
2. Laying of hands
3. Mantle
4. Anointing
Key Takeaways
1. Those who look down on themselves find it difficult to make it in life.
2. There is a limit to what people can do for you if you are not convinced.
3. Your personal conviction of yourself is a great value to you.
4. There is a limit to what other people can do for you if you are not convinced.
5. Do not allow your challenge to negatively define you or change your mentality. Keep declaring that you are more than this.
7. At any point in your journey where people mock you and your assignment, move ahead. Don’t entertain them.
8. You need faith to move to the next level.
Prayers
1. Put your right hand on your head: “My Father, my Father, I stand at Galilee today, impart me with power to move to my next level.
2. Wherever I am being mocked because of my present level, lift up my head in their presence. ‘Clap as you pray.’
3. Whatever the enemy has positioned ahead of me that is saying no way or a thorough path for me, by your power, dismantle it, in the name of Jesus.
