LOOK AWAY FROM WHAT IS HAPPENING AND FOCUS ON WHAT IS WRITTEN (Friday, 29th May 2026)

Text for Today: Rom. 4:16-25 “who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became that father of many nations….” (vs. 18).

Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness. Hope, sometimes that’s all you have, when you have nothing else, if you have it you have everything. Success and breakthrough in life is simply a function of the number of risks you are willing and able to take in life through faith. There are things that may not all that be certain from the beginning, which will require you taking a risk, and you will see it taking shape as the journey progresses. When God spoke to Abraham to get out of his country, his family and father’s house to a land He will show him, it required faith and risk for him to launch out. The moment he stepped out, God took over the journey and he landed safely.

After the initial instruction God gives a man on an assignment, God may never speak to him again until he steps out. As he moves, further instructions shall be given which will help him to get to the desired destination. From our text for today, if Abraham had lived by what surrounded him, he wouldn’t have become the father of many nations as promised by God. Message Bible translation of Rom. 4:18 says, “When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do.” Faith says, even when what you are going through do not reflect what you are looking for, do not lose hope. Until you disregard the natural, you cannot experience the supernatural.

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Gen. 15:1-6.
