Monthly Focus: Family Breakthrough
Ministering: Pastor Wole Dahunsi
Texts: Isaiah 58:14
Opening Charge: Blessing: The Prophetic: The Blessings of the Lord.
Core Message
=> Your biological father is not the only father you have. Your grandfather and great-grandfather are classified as your fathers too.
=> After the spiritual warfare against curses and covenants, the next thing is to ask for higher heights.
=> It is to be anointed for higher heights. It is for us to receive the power and anointing to go higher than the limitations of our fathers.
=> From the same Jacob, where curses came for some of his children, also came blessings for others.
Key Notes
1. Higher heights will give you a voice in life.
=> Until you break forth, succeed, and get to higher heights, you don’t have a voice yet.
2. Higher heights will make you bold.
=> When a man succeeds in his assignment, his level of boldness increases.
3. Higher heights will make you a subject of envy.
=> If you don’t want people to envy you, don’t pray to God for higher heights and turnaround.
=> If God is the one who has taken you to higher heights, no one can destroy you.
4. Many people will use your higher heights testimony as a point of contact.
5. People will be more careful around you when you get to your higher heights because they don’t know the next plan of God for your life.
=> Whatever God has proposed to do in your life, no mortal being can stop it. They can delay it for a while, but no one can take the place of God in your life.
=> Genesis 26:28.
Steps you need to take to get to higher heights
1. Have a strong desire.
=> You may not look like it, but let your desire remain intact.
2. Remain connected to the source.
=> As a child of God, God is your source. Don’t allow anything to disconnect you from Him. Psalms 24:1.
3. You must be prayerful. Luke 18:1; Mark 1:35.
4. You must lay down a sacrifice. 2 Kings 3:15-18;24-27.
Key Takeaways
1. By now, each of us must be determined to go beyond the success, achievements, and exploits of our parents.
2. It is the decisions you make and the convictions you have in life that keep pushing you forward even when others are giving up.
3. It is difficult to stop a man who never gives up.
4. Higher heights are good and sweet.
5. Nobody celebrates failure and stagnation. Everybody celebrates success, breakthroughs, and higher heights.
6. If you keep going to higher heights, you don’t need to beg people to come around you.
7. You will be shocked at the kind of information people have about you. So, as a covenant carrier, don’t be scared of envy.
8. We must be careful not to go into battle with a matter you don’t know the amount of grace upon him.
9. You must be determined to break all records in your father’s house. Whatever stopped your father must not stop you.
10. If you allow people to determine your success, you will be frustrated.
Prayers
1. Higher heights bigger than those of my fathers, Lord, take me there.
2. Father, you lifted up the head of Isaac, Jacob, David, and Joseph; Lord, lift up my head.
