DIVINE SPEED IS ATTAINABLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN IT (Wednesday, 17th June 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Kings 18:41-46 “Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” (vs. 46).
Divine speed is the grace to achieve a God-given goal, dream, vision and project at God’s good time. It enables a man to do within a short period what would have ordinarily taken a much longer time to do. Divine speed explains a spiritual enablement and empowerment which energizes us to accomplish what could take for instance 100 days in just one week! This special grace gives man strength to outrun others, seamlessly fulfill God’s mandate for his living and reaping bountifully the seed which has been sown.
No matter what might have been the experiences in the previous months on the negative side, I declare into your life that, your new season of little efforts with great accomplishments has come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. From our text for today, Elijah the prophet of God experienced divine speed. He encouraged King Ahab to eat and drink after a long time of drought then he called on God for rain and the Lord answered. Elijah quickly requested King Ahab to go down with his chariot before the rain stopped him. Now King Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel but the bible says “the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah” and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. I pray that this hand of the Lord that was on Elijah the prophet will rest on us to outrun others in Jesus’ name. Beloved, I want you to know that, divine speed is real and if you believe God for it upon your endeavour, you will surely enjoy it, and people will praise God on your behalf.
