THE BIBLE IS MEANT TO BE BREAD FOR DAILY USE, NOT CAKE FOR SPECIAL OCCASSIONS (Monday, 15th June 2026)

Text for Today: 2 Tim. 3:10-17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (vs. 16).

Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face. The Bible is not man’s word about God, but God’s word about man. However, that will be applicable to a man that has time to study it regularly. Far more than what manufactures of this world can offer, our manufacturer created an instruction manual for each of us to survive and thrive in any and every situation, circumstance and problem we face in life. Here’s a revelation, if we don’t read and study it, then we’ll continually have problems all the days of our natural born life. The seventh and the last in this series of what makes faith to grow is, DISCUSS YOUR FAITH FREQUENTLY WITH YOUR MANUFACTURER.

Our text for today says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof….” If something is profitable, it’s going to be beneficial.  The word profitable in the Strong’s Concordance is from a Greek word that means “profitable, advantage.” If we want to have advantages in life then we need to understand our instruction manual, God’s Holy Word.  Every answer to every problem we face is in the book. Smith Wigglesworth said: “I am not moved by what I see. I am not moved by what I feel. I am moved only by what I believe.” Matthew Barnett said: “Faith is believing that God is going to take you places before you even get there.” Don’t only read the Bible, but also meditate on it. Reading the Bible without meditating on it is like eating without swallowing.
