ENJOY WHERE YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY TO HIGHER GROUND (Sunday, 20th September 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Cor. 10:25-31: “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (vs. 31).
Those who chose to enjoy where they are as they aim at higher ground cannot be frustrated in life. By divine arrangement, your work is meant to make your life better and give you joy as you engage in it diligently and not otherwise. The Bible says in Is. 65:23 that, “They shall not labour in vain”, thus that is a sure way of finding joy in whatever you do. However, you need to know that there are forces and powers that are out there whose aim is to use the work of your hands to bring you frustration instead of joy. Say, “I reject it in Jesus name.” Beloved, based on what the scripture says, you must see the work of your hand as something that will give you joy, it does not matter whatever you may be going through now.
Whenever you see what you do as a burden that is what it will be for you. Our text for today says, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Even when you serve in the house of God, you must see it as a privilege and a blessing, not a burden. When you do what you do as if you are doing it for the Lord, then you will experience the joy of serving the Lord and others because you know that when you work for the Lord He will reward you handsomely. Therefore, your attitude as you go out each day to work is to live to please God and fulfill your purpose here on earth. If you are always angry and sad each day you are going to your place of work, I advise you to quit or you may kill yourself before your time through depression. Enjoy where you are on your way to your next level.
You are a champion!
Further Study: Eccles. 9:1-12.
