What is a vessel?
=> A vessel is a container that is prepared and set aside to carry a particular liquid substance.
=> A vessel is a person who is designed or fashioned by God to carry out an assignment for Him. Jeremiah 1:4-5.
A vessel that God can use
1. He must be available and fit.
2. He must be prepared for every good work.
3. He must purge himself from ungodliness and anything that will bring shame to the body of Christ.
4. He must be prepared for teamwork.
Categories of Vessels – 2 Timothy 2:20-21
1. Vessels unto dishonor: They bring no value to the kingdom of the Lord.
2. Vessels of Honour: People will always see the impact they are making.
Detailed Qualifications for being a Vessel unto Honour
1. You must be born again. John 3:1-9
2. You must be obedient to God’s words. 1 Samuel 15:22.
