Joab’s overzealousness and the murder of Abner

=> 2 Samuel 3:26-29

=> After Joab killed Abner, David placed some curses on him and his father’s house:

1. They shall lack bread (poverty).
2. They shall have an issue of blood.
3. They shall be lepers.
4. They will die by the sword (untimely death).
5. They shall lean on a staff (will be bent).

Jacob’s curse on Reuben

=> Genesis 49:3-4

=> Jacob cursed Reuben for sleeping with his wife, and the curse affected his generation.

=> When Moses broke the jinx in Deuteronomy 33:6, Reuben was no longer alive.

2. Lift up your hands: “My Father, My Father, help me break every jinx in my family by the power of the Holy Ghost. Whatever no one has done before in my family, help me to achieve it.

3. My Father, use my children and I to showcase your glory.
