Texts: 1 Kings 18:41-46

Opening Charge: Each time anointing takes place, a name must be given to that anointing, and it is the name we give it that God will confirm. The name of today’s anointing service is Divine Acceleration.

Core Message

What is Divine Acceleration

=> Divine Acceleration is a spiritual enablement and empowerment that energizes you to accomplish in one day, what could have taken you 100 days.

=> Divine Acceleration is when God empowers you to do what is beyond you. 1 Samuel 2:9b.

Four things to be noted

1. In the journey of life, some people will be stronger than you physically, but by divine acceleration, you can go higher than them. It is not by physical strength that we get to the throne; it is by the help of God Almighty. 2 Samuel 6:1.

=> Obededom was not among the 30,000 choice men David selected, but God looked on him with His mercy, and he obtained a glorious result that others envied. He was labeled weak, but he eventually experienced Divine Acceleration.

2. Humanly speaking, some people will be better connected than you, but when divine acceleration locates you, you will obtain the kind of result that their connections cannot get.

=> Esther is a good example. Esther was a slave girl, yet she stood among other young ladies who came from wealthy homes and backgrounds.

3. Some people will have some opportunities that are bigger than the ones you have in life, but when you enjoy divine acceleration, you will get to places they can’t get to.

=> Zacchaeus is a great example.

4. Physically, some people will have better qualifications than you, but that does not mean you can’t succeed in life. 1 Samuel 17:13-14;17-18.

Case Study: Elijah

Text: 1 Kings 18:41-46

=> Prayer works: After 3 years of no rain, Elijah kept praying to God without giving up.

=> He kept sending his servant to check the sky to see if there was any indication that rain would fall.

=> At the seventh check, the servant returned with a report that there was finally a cloud as small as a man’s hand.

=> If you pray and see God’s hand, be thankful, because you will surely see his entire body and glory.

1. My Father, let Your awesome hand be upon me like never before as I go ahead in this journey. Let me enjoy acceleration.

2. Lift up your right hand: “Oh God, my Father, by your power, let every satanic block and barrier on my path be destroyed.”

3. Lift up your right hand: “I decree and declare, beginning from today, spirits of delay and backwardness, I reject you, in the name of Jesus.”
