BITTERNESS OF HEART HINDERS FULFILMENT IN LIFE (Wednesday, 22nd April 2026)
Text for Today: Col. 3:1-13 “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievance you may have against one another….” (vs.13)
Those who allow prolong bitterness in their heart don’t live to fulfil their purpose on earth. The worst feeling in the world is being hurt by someone you love dearly, but hear this; that is not the end of the world. Beloved, what lies ahead of you in life is far better than whatever you left behind. Only a dead man is practically free from most of the things we lament over as human beings in the cause of our pursuit in life. The way out is never to allow whatever comes your way to stop you from getting to your destination in life. There is no one who has not been hurt by people around him. The pain becomes severe when those who hurt us are those we rely on so much, thinking that they could never do a thing like that.
As a result of what they did to us, we tend to come up with a game plan to address the situation. Beloved, are you contemplating revenge? You know that’s negative thinking getting the best of you. However, there is a way to seek revenge positively. How? Forget about them. Working on a better you is more fulfilling than hanging on to contempt of others. Let it all go and hold on to your growth and kindness instead. If you train yourself to consistently be more loving in thoughts and actions, your positive energy will attract more positive results into your current reality. Be unlike the person or situation that hurt you. Let go and grow past your pain. Carry on living well in a way that create peace in your heart. The energy you would spend trying to get real revenge can be better spent creating an amazing future for yourself. Be wise!
