Opening Charge: A battle of more than 100 years can become a battle of a thousand years.

Core Message

=> These are battles that are older than us, and sometimes our parents. People call them ancestral and family battles.

=> Day by day, children of God are realizing the existence of these battles.

=> God founded the institution of family when He gave Eve to Adam. This was why He sent Jesus to the world through a family.

Eli as a Case Study

=> Correction is a sign of love, not a sign of hatred. Eli corrected his sons but was not firm. This brought a lot of curses to his lineage.

Moses as a Case Study

=> It was not a mistake that Moses ended up the way he did. He was meek and a friend of God, but anger made him end up the way he did. Deuteronomy 34:1-4.

=> Exodus 2: 1-2; 11-12. Here, the origin of Moses was discussed. The lineage of Levi, from which Moses came, was known for anger (Genesis 49:5-7). Moses ended the way he did because of the anger he inherited from his father. He did not visit his father’s house in the spirit to fight the ancestral battle.

Judah’s lineage as a case study

=> It was not a mistake that David took another man’s wife and killed her husband. It was because David came from the lineage of Judah. Genesis 49:8.

=> Malachi 2:11. Judah married a woman from a tribe that God had cursed. That was the genesis of everything in the lives of Judah’s children. Solomon had 300 wives and 700 concubines.

=> David was a man after God’s heart, but he still did what he did as a result of ancestral curses and covenants. 2 Samuel 11.

=> Absalom slept with his father’s wife. He was a seed of Judah.

=> Judah was very central to the plan of God on earth, so the devil gave him the spirit of immorality. He loved accursed women. Malachi 2:11.

Prayers

1. Every consultation and fellowship with strange gods that anyone is using my family name for, I (your name), am exempted from today.

2. Every covenant entered into with my family name that is affecting me today, by the blood of Jesus, I break it today.

3. Father, shake to the foundation, every battle from my lineage.

4. Every curse and covenant that is waiting to strike in my future, Lord, deliver me by your mercy.

5. Every curse and covenant that has been working against them in my Father’s and mother’s houses, I declare today, for myself and my children, enough is enough.
