DISTINCTION IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T MAINTAIN FOCUS IN LIFE (Monday, 8th December 2025)

Text for Today: Isaiah 50:1-9 “For the lord God will help me; therefore, I will not be disgraced; therefore, I have set my face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.” (vs. 7). 

There are good virtues whoever wants to stand out in life must possess to get it done. Everyone has a track he must follow and maintain if he will ever do exploits in his chosen career. Exploits and distinction are not for those who can’t maintain focus in life, because they won’t be able to go near it at all. Beloved if you want to arrive at your desired destination and you don’t want to miss your reward, you must not drift away from your track. I want you to know that nothing slows a man down in life like getting off his track. Moving fast in the wrong direction cannot get you to your expected destination.

Men and women who have reached their goals and are being celebrated today, are those who maintained focus and refused to be distracted. No matter how fast an athlete may run or even be the first person to breast the tape, if he leaves his lane, it’s outright disqualification for him and he won’t be considered for any of the medals. If you get out of your track, you lose your reward. Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:35-39, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation…., yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us… nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our lord.” As you go out today, don’t allow anything to take you off the track and I pray for you that you won’t miss your reward in Jesus’ name.

  4. Father, deliver me from enemies of progress that surround me.
