GO FOR VALUE AND NOT BURDEN WHEN IT COMES TO ASSOCIATION (Saturday, 24th January 2026)
Text for Today: Prov. 13:13-21 “He who walks with the wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools shall be destroyed” (vs. 20).
It does not matter what your experience with people may look like in the past, never judge your new relationship negatively with it. The fact that someone disappointed and let you down yesterday does not mean the person that is before you today will do the same thing. There are people God will yet bring you in contact with so you could learn some great lessons of life from them. But if you shut yourself out, it means you are disconnecting from the plan of God for your life. I have seen some great people around who vowed not to have anything to do with anyone in their quest to making it, saying they need no man’s help or assistance because some people messed up before.
I do say to them that nothing of such takes place here on earth in the abode of men, it’s better they pack their bags and baggage and go to inhabit graveyards. Irrespective of what your experience might be in the hands of men, I want you to know that it is a manifestation of pride for a man to say he needs no man to fulfill his purpose on earth. Even Jesus who is our Lord and Saviour at a point in His ministry called some people to Himself to work with Him as regards His assignment. However, you just don’t need everybody in your life but some specific ones who will add great value to you. In whatever you are called out to do in life you must know that some people have gone ahead and are already succeeding on it. Then wisdom demands that you find out such men and learn from their wealth of experiences.
