HE HAS GREAT PLEASURE IN YOUR WELL BEING (Friday, 5th September 2025)

Text for Today: 3 John 1:1-8 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (vs. 2).

Ps. 35:27 says, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” It is God’s will that you prosper in whatever you lay your hands upon. Prospering in whatever you do is one of the proofs of your sonship, since Jesus Christ prospered in all that He did. It is mentioned repetitively throughout the bible. Unfortunately, you have an enemy that is coming for every dime you make, who does not want you to prosper.  John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (NIV).

The devil steals in many ways, but I’m going to mention a few ways in our study for today. (i) SELF-DOUBT: This keeps you from going after opportunities or trying new things that will add value to your life. (ii) SABOTAGE: Every time you build something up, it gets destroyed. (iii)  FEAR OF REJECTION: It prevents you from asking for a person’s business; causes people to reject you. (iv) LOW SELF ESTEEM: This causes you to see yourself as ugly and it prevents others from seeing your capacity, beauty, and many more. It also causes you to hide. (v) BETRAYAL: it causes people to betray you and stab you in the back – steal your ideas, money, business relationships, and friends. (vi) CONFUSION: This is a state of not knowing which direction to go or what next to do. (vii) REGRET: This is meant to tie you to past mistakes and shortcomings. Also, it wants to keep you from moving forward. If you want to prosper in life, you must silence the monsters and cast them out.

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Deut. 8:1-20.

Covenant Prayers

  1. Father, I thank you for the breaking of this new day.
  2. I receive grace and power to silence all enemies of prosperity.
  3. My life shall not become a victim of enemies of prosperity.
  4. Dear Lord, make this week my week of all-round prosperity.

QUOTE: “UNTIL THE ENEMY IS SILENCED, NOTHING GOOD CAN COME TOWARDS YOUR DIRECTION.”
