HE TOLD THEM TO SIT DOWN WHEN THERE WAS NO FOOD ON GROUND (Tuesday, 28th July 2026)
Text for Today: John 6:1-1z4 “Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” (vs. 10a).
Any man who believes in nothing aims at nothing and gets nowhere in life. Only men of purpose, who have great faith in their dreams, will go very far in life. Beloved, I want you to know that a man that has a dream he believes in has a future. Your belief directly determines how well you live your life. You are a victim of the beliefs you live by. And a belief is not merely an idea the mind possesses, it is an idea that possess the mind. So, believe in yourself by His grace. Believe in your capacity to succeed. Believe that there are many roads to what is right. It does not matter if one is blocked right away, look out for another one.
Believe in your intuition, especially when you have to choose between two good paths. Believe that the answers are out there waiting to be discovered. Believe that life will surprise you again and again, no matter how your past looked like. Believe that the journey is the destination. Don’t see yourself returning back empty handed on anything you embark upon in life. From our text for today, Jesus saw possibilities ahead even though everything around Him was on the negative. They were in the wilderness, where no one can buy any food not to talk of buying food in large quantity that will cater for thousands of people. To worsen the matter, the treasurer told Him, they had no money, yet Jesus told them to instruct the people to sit down even when no food was on ground. A miracle is at the other side of your belief.
