IT’S GOOD TO GIVE THANKS ALWAYS! (Saturday, 13th December)

Text for Today: Ps 67:1-7 “Let the peoples praises You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.”

Every demand of the scripture and responsibilities given to you as a believer are all geared towards making you a strong believer and as well making your life better here on earth. In the school of praise, when it comes to the subject of praising God, you must understand that you’re simply doing it for your own good and not as a favour to God. When a man fails to appreciate God Almighty for all his past deeds in his life, it will be foolish of such a person to return back to the same God with some other bundle of requests. This is how many of us behave at times, by allowing our present needs and trials to becloud our minds and think God has not really done much for us in life.

From our text for today, a command is given that, “Let the peoples praise You.” You need to know that this is not an appeal, it’s an instruction; though those who fail to comply with it may not be punished directly, but what will punish them lie ahead of them in destiny. Also, from our further study for today, Jesus asked for the remaining nine lepers after just only one out of ten came back to give thanks. Beloved, each time God visits your life with any of his blessings, He is waiting for you right there to return back with testimony and thanksgiving. And I hope you will not let Him wait in vain for you. As we approach the tail end of this great year, no matter what you may be going through at the moment, never you allow the devil to take away your attitude of gratitude, because it is simply for your own good. It’s good to give thanks always!

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Ps 103:1-5.

  1. Father, I give you praise for counting me worthy to be alive today.
