IT’S PROFITABLE TO BE CONSISTENT IN LIFE (Monday, 20th July 2026)

Text for Today: Acts 1:15-26 “Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us.” (vs. 21).

“Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us”, was what Peter said and all other disciples agreed with him when the time came to pick someone else to take the place of Judas. The process was very simple and direct; they looked out for men who had been consistent over the years even when Jesus was still around physically with them. Beloved, being consistent in whatever you do in life pays, and the reward will surely come at the appointed time. Both Barsabas and Matthias were qualified to take the place of Judas because they had been consistent over the years.

In the journey of life, I have seen quite a number of people who pulled out of a good cause, saying “Nothing is coming out for me despite my sacrifices.” Beloved, I want you to know that, there is no good service you render in life, both secularly and in the kingdom of God that will not bring its kind of harvest. The principle of seed time and harvest time will definitely play out on all issues of life; it is just a matter of time. Unfortunately, it is this issue of time that many are angry with.  Beloved, whether you are given a title or not, I charge you to continue with your God given assignment. Acts 1:26 says, “And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.” As you continue with your journey this second half of the year, I pray for you that, your labour of the past shall be dully recognized and rewarded. This second half shall be your season of great harvest in the name of Jesus.

Covenant Prayers                       

  1. Father, I thank you for all you have done for me since January.
  2. Dear Lord, grant me grace to be consistent in my endeavour.
  3. Lord, cause my great reward to come this second half of the year.
  4. I shall no longer be denied of the blessing I deserve in life.
