NEVER FOLLOW THE CROWD TO GO INTO ERROR (Friday, 26th September 2025)
Text for Today: Ruth 1:1-12 “Then Elimelech, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left, and her two sons.” (vs. 3).
Staying where God has sent you is a sure way of enjoying divine flow. When you go to where God did not send you, just know that you are on your own. And mind you, being on your own without divine backing in any given assignment is a dangerous way to live, and you may not even be alive to tell the story when the consequences come upon you. Good things that are determined for our lives are connected to certain locations or places. Throughout the Bible, you will find God asking people to travel away from certain places or to stay, which means blessings do not happen to everybody just anywhere, it must be your divine location. Physical locations are significant in determining whether one would experience blessings or not.
We must also understand that a change of location or circumstances will not always solve our problems if God is not involved in it. And just like Elimelech and Naomi left their land of flourishing without hearing from God, most of us think if we change location, house, job etc., that our problems will be solved. But decision made purely on the basis of material things, security or assumptions do not always work out to our advantage when God is not involved in it. Every decision we made must be set against the background of God’s perfect will. Always move when God ask you to move and stay put if God has not asked you to move. Never follow the crowd to go into error. The fact that others are doing it doesn’t mean it is part of God’s purpose for your life. I pray for you today that, you will not miss it in Jesus name.
