NO FORCE OR POWER CAN STOP THE MOVE OF GOD (Sunday, 5th April 2026)
Text for Today: Luke 24:1-12 “He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee.” (vs. 6).
Let me start by praying for you today that, whatever good thing that is dead in your life, shall come back to life in Jesus name. The resurrection of Jesus Christ sets Christianity apart from all other world religion. Our Lord Jesus Christ died and was raised on the third day from the dead and still lives in the hearts of His followers. There was nothing His accusers did not do to stop His resurrection, but they failed woefully. All soldiers that were assigned to stop Him from resurrecting as prophesied and declared, were like dead men when the King of Glory rose up from the dead. I pray for you today that, whoever rises against your dream and purpose in life shall fail in the name of Jesus.
Whatever good thing the enemy may want to stop from happening in your life will surely manifest by the power of God Almighty. Beloved, if He had not risen, there will be nothing called the gospel today. The resurrection was the theme of the apostles’ preaching everywhere they went. Acts 4:33 says, “With great power, the apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.” From our further study for today, Peter preached the first gospel sermon on the day of Pentecost focusing on the resurrection. Apostle Paul gave a detailed explanation of the resurrection in the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 15. In 1 Corinthians 5:3-4, he clearly stated that, “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” No force or power can ever stop God’s counsel.
