Success Is Not Given, It Is Earned
Text for Today: Philip. 3:7-14 “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold for me.” (vs. 12).
Success doesn’t come to you, you go to it. Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success, not your family background.
You must know that success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love for what you are doing.
You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.
No matter what your father or mother may accomplish in life, you’ve got to work and get your own success in life. Whatever your parents may transfer or give to you, if you don’t work on it and have your own success, it will go down the drain.
This is why you must see yourself as a major factor to your success in life. There are quite a number of wealthy people who have passed through the planet earth, using Nigeria as a case study, whose business empire they left behind had crumbled.
Why? The children didn’t work for their own success; they simply squandered what they inherited. Beloved, you are the principal actor in the season film of your life, and no one can love you or wish you well than you love yourself.
You must strive to create a record of your own, a feat others will aspire to get to. Because it takes a foolish man to rely only on the achievements of his parents while he does nothing.
Always remember, success is not given, it is earned.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: Philip. 4:1-13.
