TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR DESTINY BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE (Sunday, 30th November 2025)
Text for today: Gen. 30:25-43 “The Lord has blessed you since my coming, and now, when shall I also provide for my own house”. (vs. 30b).
If Jacob had not woken up to take charge of his destiny when he did, it may have been too late for him later. There is a spirit called the spirit of limitation and until this spirit is dealt with and conquered the victims remain limited in every sphere of life, financially, academically, politically, spiritually, financially, and in business. A limited man is a restricted man who suffers in the midst of plenty. He cannot go beyond the limitations the enemies have set over him. Though he may see or know where he belongs or what he should attain, he will always find it difficult to get there. Limitation makes a man to suffer in the midst of opportunities, possibilities and glory.
One of the indications of a destiny that is tampered with is that the owner of such destiny suffers untold limitations in life. To suffer limitation in life is to have one’s level of achievement, success and joy determined by other people, especially one’s enemies. A barrier is placed in such people’s way to greatness. They may have the potentials for greatness, prosperity and excellence, but there is an extent to which they are allowed to go in life. Such was the case of Jacob from our text for today, who had great potentials but was simply using it to serve his father in law for several decades until he woke up one day to take charge of his destiny. Everyone who wants to enter his destiny must be free from the spirit of limitation. I pray for you today that this last day in the eleventh month, your limitations are destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name.
