TURNAROUND HAS A KEY THAT UNLOCKS IT (Saturday, 27th December 2025)
Text for Today: 1 Kings 2:1-7 “And keep the charge of the Lord your God to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes….” (vs. 3a).
Until a man locates the right key for a door, he will remain outside. Experiencing turnaround comes not by magic but by principles and appropriate obedience. Turnaround has a formula to unravel it. When King David was about to die, he gave his son, Solomon, the following advice: “Do what the LORD your God commands you, follow His teachings. Obeying everything written in the law of Moses, then you will be a success, and attain any heights you desire no matter what you do or where you want to get to,” (I Kings 2:3). I like you to know that David didn’t tell his son to build up his kingdom with great armies, or to gather wealth from other lands, or preserve his legacies, or to defeat his enemies in battles.
Instead, his formula for success was to follow God and obey Him completely, for wisdom and discernment in order to lead God’s people. God was pleased by this request and granted it, giving Solomon a wise and understanding heart, to attain any heights he desires more than any man had ever had before. God also gave Solomon the things he didn’t ask for, riches and honour among men (2 Kings 3:1-14). Solomon took his father’s advice to heart, at least for most of his reign and reflected on it in his writings in Proverbs: “My son, do not forget my teachings but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you…..” (Prob. 3:1-3). If you will follow this success formula and appropriately applied these covenant tools then turnaround becomes your trademark. See you at the top.
