WHAT GOES AROUND WILL COME AROUND ONE DAY (Sunday, 3rd May 2026)
Text for Today: 1 Sam. 31:1-13 “So Saul, his three sons, his armorbearer, and all his men died together that same day.” (vs. 4).
Those who are not careful about the kind of life they are living today will live to regret it later. Everything you do, everything you say, every choice you make, sooner or later comes back around. There are always consequences to your actions. Before you act, make sure you’re prepared for them. Life will let you get away with something for a while, but sooner or later, you will pay the price. Everything you do in life causes the effects that you experience in the future. When you get the bill, be prepared to pay. Beloved, I want you to know that everything comes full circle. It doesn’t matter what it looks like now; it will surely come.
Good people have better things coming their way, and bad people have bad things coming. As long as the world is turning, what goes around will come around one day. Man sees the now, but God knows the future. Man, judges what you show, but God knows your heart. Life is an echo; what you send out comes back, what you sow you reap, and what you give is what you get. Beloved, you will never understand the damage you did to another person until the same is done to you. Some people create their own storms and then get mad when it rains. Don’t waste your time on revenge, because those who hurt you will eventually face their own karma. From our text for today, King Saul did so much evil against David out of envy, but reaped what he sowed eventually. Despite the appeal made to him by his son Jonathan, he was still determined to kill David until he met his Waterloo.
You are a Champion!
Further Study: 1 Sam. 20:1-23.
