YOU NEED DIVINE BACKING TO MAKE GREAT IMPACT (Sunday, 8th November 2026)
Text for Today: Exodus 4:1-8 “Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign.” (vs. 8).
God will never send a man on an errand or on a mission without backing him up. Covenant Champions Global Assembly, the church I’m privilege to pastor is celebrating her 19th Anniversary today, and I make bold to declare that, it is s a result of the divine backing we enjoy over the years. Since the Bible says in 1 Sam. 2:9, “For by strength no man shall prevail,” it means every man requires divine backing to make great impact on earth. Whenever God gives a man a message to deliver to his generation, He backs him up with proofs. This is because some people will never take you seriously until they see the manifestation of what you say in your life.
Beloved, I’m convinced beyond reasonable doubt that only fools doubt miracles. Only a mad man will claim nothing has happened when other people are amazed at what God is doing in your life. We prayed a prayer in our church recently that shook everybody, and we prayed it with intensity; “Father, do for me a miracle that will speak for itself and announce itself all over.” From our text for today, after Moses tried to dodge the assignment God gave him; all the excuses he gave were set aside by God. He then asked for how to convince the people that God truly sent him to them. The Lord gave him two signs (or miracles) to do. He then said that if the people did not ordinarily believe Moses, then they would believe the voice of the first sign (miracle) and if not, then they would believe the voice of the second one. So, miracles speak! Up till now, they do. I pray for you today that, your life will become a wonder to people

- I judge every power that wants me to die before my next miracle.
- I shall become a light indeed to my generation as from today.
