YOU NEED TO BACK UP YOUR PRAYERS WITH A LIFESTYLE OF HOLINESS (Wednesday, 10th September 2025)
Text for Today: Jam. 5:13-18 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.” (vs. 17).
I often say to people that, “Life is wicked, and you must be rugged.” Whoever lives his life carelessly or full of complacency will become a prey in the mouth of the wicked. In this times and season that we live in, it will be sheer carelessness and very risky for anyone to believe that there are no adversaries. A man with this kind of thought will never go far because soonest, he will become satanic agents’ victim. These adversaries are real and never rest. They go here and there seeking whom to devour. The question now is; must we fold our hands and allow them to subdue us? No! Something must be done to combat the terror. Carnality or physical warfare cannot combat them.
The weapon of our warfare should be spiritual in order to pull down these strongholds. Aggressive prayer in the Holy Ghost will always dismantle the kingdom of darkness. It doesn’t stop there. You need to back up your prayers with a lifestyle of holiness “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man.” Beloved, some of these adversaries have placed themselves under oaths never to let your long-awaited dream to manifest, never to allow you carry your baby, never to allow you take up your possession in whatever form it is applicable to you. That is enough reason for you never to accept it as fate because it was not God’s plan for you to be defeated. Take up the challenges today and challenge every adversary of your life in the Holy Ghost and maintain a righteous life. It will work wonders.
