EXPLOITS IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOW SELF ESTEEM (Friday, 19th September 2025)
Text for Today: Jud. 6:11-22 “Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianities, have I not sent you”. (vs. 14).
In the journey of life, anyone with low self-esteem can never become a candidate for exploits. At any point you declare and conclude that you can’t do anything successfully, it will be difficult for anyone to help you. Self-will and good self-esteem are of great importance for anyone who will do great exploits in life. We have so many accounts in the Bible of men and women who stood firm and showed great determination even when no one gave them any chance and they succeeded. Men like David, Jephthah, Moses, and many more.
There are many occasions and times in our lives when we feel inadequate and unworthy to move ahead in life. When we feel things can no longer improve based on the circumstance that surrounds us. Gideon also found himself in this situation once and God rescued him and the children of Israel. The same Lord that delivered Gideon and the Israelites will deliver you and pave way for you out of no way in Jesus’ name. From our text for today, Gideon felt deeply inadequate and useless, but the angel of the Lord saw through his inadequacies to the valour that lay within his spirit. God sees us not as we are but as we can be, given His power in us. Even when men may say you are not worthy, God surely knows that you are the best candidate for the assignment and He will fix you up. No man can take whatever God has purposed for you. If you are a worker in God’s vineyard, just keep on serving God and let Him take you into His thoughts for your life.
