SMALL DEEDS DONE ARE BETTER THAN GREAT DEEDS PLANNED (Wednesday, 27th May 2026)
Text for Today: Luke 8:40-48 “..came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.” (vs.44)
He who fears he will fail and does nothing is already a failure. Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. The value of an idea lies in the using of it. Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action. The only impossible journey in life is the one you never begin. Many people get stuck in life, not because forces and powers want them to, but because they failed to take appropriate and decisive actions in life. Whatever you chose to do or not to do in life will go a long way to determine what happens to your destiny.
Like I often say to people, nothing happens on its own things are made to happen by our actions. Sadly enough, very few people ever live to become the success story they dream about. And there’s one simple reason: They never act! The acquisition of knowledge doesn’t mean you’re growing. Growing happens when what you know changes how you live. So many people live in a complete daze. There’s a huge difference between knowing how to do something and actually doing it. Knowledge and intelligence are both useless without action. It’s as simple as that. From our text for today, the woman with the issue of blood, as she was fondly called since we were not told her name, at some point within the crisis she was going through took a decision and acted on it promptly. Thoughts and words may inspire, but only action creates a change. HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY!
