GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL AND DEPENDABLE (Tuesday, 4th November 2025)
Text for Today: Gen. 32:1-10 “I am unworthy of all the loving kindness and of all the faithfulness which You have shown to Your servant, for with my staff only I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two companies.” (vs. 10).
To the glory of God, todays makes it 18 years exactly when the vision of Covenant Champions Global Assembly was birthed in the city of Ibadan, and it has been from glory to glory ever since. God is always faithful and dependable. He cannot lie and will never break a promise. His faithfulness is displayed throughout the Bible and is still testified to by people today. From our text for today, Jacob gave a vivid account of how faithful God has been to him. Jacob left home nearly 21 years prior to this statement of God’s faithfulness. He left home with nothing, but God prospered him while he was away.
He was about to meet his brother Esau, whom he had deceived before his departure. Seeing God’s faithfulness of the past, he was expecting the same for his immediate future. We too can encourage ourselves and build our faith for the remaining two months of this year and even the future, by remembering God’s faithfulness in the past. Psalm 33:4 says, – “For the Word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness.” God is faithful to His Word. This is why it’s imperative we know and speak His Word. When we speak the Word of God, it goes forth in power and God must back it up with action. The Psalmist went so far as to say, “You have magnified Your word above all Your name” (Psalms 138:2). Let’s feed on God’s faithfulness rather than the tremendous task before us. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to your remembrance the times God has been faithful to you. You will find your faith renewed and surging to new heights.
