WITHOUT POWER LIFE IS A MISERY! (Monday, 17th November 2025)
Text for Today: Acts 1:1-8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria…” (vs. 8).
Power is so relevant to the life of a Christian! Without power, life is a misery! Christianity without power is mere religion; it can never experience the manifestation of the miraculous. The end-time church is a Visionary church and a church of power, A ruling and reigning church. Kingdom power was present in the ministry of Jesus (Acts 10:38), and His ministry was proven by signs and wonders (Acts 2:22). Kingdom power was also present in the ministry of His followers (Mat. 10:1-3). So, if you lack results, you lose respect. Beloved, I want you to know that Christian efforts are not sufficient; knowledge of the truth is essential, but it is not enough. Personality, graciousness of speech, and action are important, but they are not enough. There is a need for conferment of power upon every believer to produce tangible results. “The kingdom of God is not in words, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power (I Cor. 2:4)”. We are in the days of power in the church! Ps. 110:1-3. In God’s agenda, there is a day called “the day of His power“, a day when the church will be reigning and ruling in the midst of her enemies. That day is here already. You have a duty to press into your portion by waiting on God like the disciples did in the upper room, and they were baptized with power, which changed the face of their ministry radically. The same set of young men who were afraid before began to speak with boldness after they encountered power.
