GOD’S COMPASSION DOESN’T RESPOND TO GRUMBLING AND MURMURING (Saturday, 20th December 2025)
Text for Today: 2 Chron. 20:20-24 “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness…” (vs. 21a).
If you give God his food regularly, you can’t be free from hunger spiritually. When you consider the size of your God and cultivate the habit of praising him, he will push your problems away. The song in many people’s mouth is that of their problems, and not the greatness of their God. They have somehow created album and tracks about their problems. They lament every day and even tell it to people who are not interested in it. They are comfortable magnifying their problems and not their God. Whenever you complain and lament about your problems the devil takes the glory and he afflict you the more so as to receive more accolades. He glories in the aura of your lamentation.
Now, there is nothing you are going through that someone is not even going through worse than that of yours. Everyone has their problem, and the fact that they didn’t tell you does not mean they are not going through something. As far as you are alive and still walking on the surface of this earth you will definitely have challenges. There is this popular adage that says anyone who has a face is facing something. So beloved, don’t magnify your problems, rather, celebrate the greatness and faithfulness of your God. God said you should call him in the days of your trouble and he is going to hear you. Your complaints and lamentations can never and will never move God. God’s compassion doesn’t respond to grumbling and murmuring, it rather responds to prayer and worship. I want you to know that nothing afflicts the devil like praising your God in the midst of crisis.
You are Champion!
