YOUR CHARACTER AND YOUR GLORY

Sunday Service (21st December 2025)

Monthly Focus: Abundance

Ministering: Pastor Wole Dahunsi

Texts: Psalms 119:1-3; Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 15:33

Opening Charge: You can’t separate your character and your glory; they go together.

Core Message

=> Everybody has a glory to fulfil on earth, but many people lack the required character that will enhance the voice of their glory to speak.

=> Gifts can take you to the throne, but they do not have the power to preserve you there. Only character can.

=> The foundation of a man’s character is his beliefs and values. Therefore, character is the product of our thoughts and our beliefs.

Case Study: Jesus and the Samaritan Woman

Text: John 4: 1-18

1. We come across fatigue in the journey of life. John 4:6.

=> It is not out of place to be tired, but it is dangerous to remain tired and decide to sleep off.

2. The Creator and Savior requested what He had power over by asking the woman to give Him water to drink. He humbled Himself. John 4:7.

3. There is time for everything. John 4:8.

=> The Person who fed thousands of people sent His disciples to the city to buy food.

4. The woman didn’t look beyond the physical. John 4:11.

=> Always look beyond the physical, even if it doesn’t look like it yet.

5. Hold on to your dream no matter people’s reactions. John:4-13-14.

=> Don’t wait for everybody to agree with you before you launch out.

6. Jesus pointed out the character flaws that led her to walk out of five different marriages. John 4:17-18.

Key Takeaways

1. Your character will either make or mar your destiny.

2. A good character can never be substituted for anything else.

3. A good character still remains a capital key to attaining and retaining success.

4. Success without a good character is dangerous and counterproductive.

5. A good character does not just guarantee success; it preserves it.

6. Nobody has the gift of a good character. It is not a gift; it is something you develop yourself. Likewise, nobody is unlucky to have a bad character. It is bound to your beliefs, values, and choices.

7. You build a good character by accepting responsibilities and doing what is right.

Closing Charge: There are places where they will discuss your matter that you won’t be opportune to be there. It is the character that people know you for that will speak for you there.

Prayers

1. Take five minutes to reflect and thank God for all He has done for you in 2025.

2. Lord, help me to be sincere with myself and with my life, as this year goes to an end.

3. Lift up your right hand: “Any force or power from the pit of hell, working against my glory up till this moment, I command you, scatter by fire.”

4. Lift up your two hands: “My Father, My Father, the right people that my glory needs to speak louder, bring them my way.” In the mighty name of Jesus.
