HE IS THE REASON FOR YOUR LIVING (Thursday, 1st January 2026)

Text for Today: Is. 38:15-20 “The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children.” (vs. 1).

May the name of God Almighty, the Giver of life, be praised forever because He has done it once again. He has kept His word and covenant over our lives again. By His grace, you and I are counted among the living on earth this precious day, the first day in the year 2026. Glory be to God in the highest. It will look absurd and irrational for anyone to go to any cemetery around and ask the dead to shout a big hallelujah. He will definitely get no response, and if he persists, those who may see him will think something is wrong with such a person upstairs, because ONLY THE LIVING CAN PRAISE GOD.

From our text for today, it is clearly stated that, “The living, the living man, he shall praise You.” God Almighty has been the pillar that has been holding our lives all through these years. Beloved, I want you to know that many people had wished to see today, but they are no more, while some welcome this New Year in a state of despair and many troubles. No one needs to preach an everlasting message to you, for you to know that God is the reason for your living today. He kept you, provided for you, led you, forgave you, and even fought numerous battles for you in the just-concluded year. It will be a great disaster to think that you are alive today simply because of your righteousness, strength, or any other human effort. Beloved, He is the reason for your living. I rejoice with you once again for seeing this New Year, and I charge you to go ahead and give God good praise. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

You are a Champion!

Further Study: Ps. 136:1-26.
